The first day was travel day from Yogyakarta to Pangkalpinang. Conference was held 2 days on September 3-4, 2019. There was 5 keynote speakers from Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand and Indonesia. The topic of conference was Green Energy and Environment. The conference was held together with 3rd Seminar Nasional Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (SNPPM) that organized by Universitas Bangka Belitung

There are 65 publications from many institutions participate in the conference. Nowadays, the committee still work on the final paper to publish in proceeding indexed by Scopus.

The activity was held well even the budget cut from USAID very significant. Gratefully, UBB has SNPPM event and can sharing the cost with this conference. USAID also asked many times about this conference, but then no one from USAID come to this event.

This event open a lot of opportunity for UBB. Researchers in UBB already has contact with professor from Malaysia, Taiwan and Thailand. The committee also has experiences to handle the international conference. This conference will build their capacity to held international conference, communicate with professor from abroad, increasing english skills as well.

Hopefully the conference can held regularly.
