This activity is well organized relatively in 3 days (10, 11, 12 January 2018) at The Mirah Hotel Bogor. The target of this activity was attended by 18 participants, consisting of 4 scholars from Lead (IPB) and 14 scholars from affiliates. Meanwhile, actual participants in this activity were 27 scholars, because scholars from Lead who participate in this activity are 13 scholars, while the affiliate researcher are 14 scholars. The method used in this activity is presentation method with question and answer session, both in big forum, and a divided small forum (Veterinary clusters and Fisheries clusters). Resource persons in this Training are: 1. Austin Turner Humphries (University of Rhode Island) a. Identifying your audience and target journals b. Manuscript organization, structure, and word choice c. Writing each section, including tables and figures 2. Ni Wayan Kurniani Karja (Bogor Agricultural University) a. Identifying your audience and target journals b. Manuscript organization, structure, and word choice c. Proposal organization, structure, and word choice Participants/Scholars and phd students both from lead and affiliates had brought manuscript and material presentation from their own research, and had been discussed with resource persons in coaching clinic session.

Participants/scholar increase capability in writing and publishing scientific papers in high impact english language journals as well as sharping communication skills to become more effective science communicator.

We had not been able to do live streaming training, because equipment and publications are not prepared. There is still a delay in the time, caused by the long break time. Participants are still having difficulty in scientific writing, especially in word selection, and determination of journal target and audience.

By bringing their own manuscripts, researchers can immediately get inputs to improve their scientific writing Coaching clinic method is very effective to know the scientific mistakes of researchers, personally with resource person.

For the next training, we will try to use the live streaming method, so that can be followed by more participants from various affiliates regions.
