Process of Activity:

I) The activity title is Workshop on scientific writing and journal submission. ii) The speakers was Dr. Ferry Iskandar from Institut Teknologi bandung, who is also afiliated with the National Center for Sustainable Transportation Technology (NCSTT). In the 1st day, the workshop was started with welcome speech from the host university (Universitas Lambung Mangkurat), followed by a series of paper writing session by Dr. Ferry. The 2nd day was continued with tutorial on scientific writing and paper submission to the targeted journal for participants who completed their paper during the workshop. iii) Participants come from various institutions from SHERA's afiliated institutions/partners as well as external organizations

Results of Activity:

The workshop provided tutorial and guidance on scientific writing and journal submission where I obtained valuable information, including tips and tricks on writing a paper suitable for publication on international journal.

Lessons Learned:

It is better to cite a paper/papers from targeted journal although it is not always necessary

Recommendation:

Other workshops on specific research/measurement techniques and data analysis know-how is necessary, as it is the fundamental requirement to be able to perform a good research and data acquisition.
