1. To give insight regarding how to write a research grant proposal and how to submit research founding to get a patent 2. To assist participant in revising their draft research grant proposal 3. To assist participant in getting familiar with steps to filing a patent application 4. To increase the number of exclusive right of research invention (patent) of CCR-NCSTT member 5. To disseminate knowledge obtained from MIT Professional Education (PE) program to our CCR members, with the topic on research and innovation management 6. The workshop discuss three different topics related to research system establisment. The first topic is on research grant proposal writing, the second is the MIT PE outreach on innovation process and the last one is on intellectual property policy in higher education institution. Most of the participants come from Sam Ratulangi University while the others are CCR members from 6 different region in Indonesia. The last session of the event is a knowledge sharing events which discuss our CCR research progress and input for the next research agenda

The workshop successfully improve participant understanding on grant proposal writing, intellectual properti policy and innovation process. This is shown by higher post test results compared to pre test results. The reserchers now also have an idea on the topic for the research proposal

There was no particular challenge in this activity

The participant are really interested in grant proposal writing and intellectual property policy and want to explore it in more detail. We realize that we need to held another workshop to support our researchers until they succeed in getting funding from another source

The participants seems to be very interested in grant proposal writing and higher education intellectual property policy part. In the future, we intend to hold workshop on similar topic in more depth
