The participants have a good and readily submitted research invention for patent protection 4. The participants get knowledge on how to innovation management effectively 5. Our CCR member, who attend the workshop, as well as those who are watching via teleconference, will get updated on CCR NCSTT research progress and have insight on our next action plan

This workshop discuss several aspects on intellecual property, i) Managing national and international patent & IP conflict, ii) IP Rights Management and Valuation, iii) IP Commercialization strategy for academia, iv) Lobbying and communication strategy for technology transfer, v) Patent draft coaching. The workshop was attended by lecturers / researchers from Diponegoro University, Bandung Institute of Technology, Kalimantan Institute of Technology, Universitas Indonesia, etc. The speakers come from Indonesian Institute of Science (LIPI), Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) and the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
The workshop was successfully held and the participants gained a better understanding on intellectual property policy in higher education environment. This is reflected by the improvement of pre and post test score
There was no particular challenge on this activity
Workshop or other kind of knowledge sharing events on Intellectual Property is very important for a university to improve its patent / produt commercialization policy. We certainly need follow up activities to improve Intellctual Property Policy on the respective university
To implement an improved intellectual property policy in a university, the idea should be communicated to university policy makers and should also be disseminated to various stakeholders in a university. Implementing a policy requires the authority of university leadership and also strong support from various entities in a university.
