Process of Activity:

This meeting was conducted in order to discuss the immunogenicity study progress and obstacles encountered during implementation, as well as the progress on MoU settlement between UNPAD, RSHS and Biofarma. This meeting is attended by the study team (Prof Cissy, Prof Ida, dr Atik, dr Kartika) and RSHS team (dr Agnes, dr Iwan, Pa Aceng, Pa Oded, Bu Sartika, Pa Tri Okto, Bu Elvira, Bu Fitri, Bu Epi, Bu Nining, Pa Sulaeman, Pa Riza, Bu Siti, Pa Sigit, Pa Nandang).

Results of Activity:

Summary of the discussion are mentioned below: •250 nurses and midwives have been recruited and ready to be present during the visit; •There is a delay in the finalization of the MOU due to the uncertainty of the payment procedures from CCR-ARI to RSHS. In consequences, the HCW study implementation must be delayed as well; •Discussion whether the study team must pay the clinical trial institutional fee considering the study is not a clinical trial (the vaccine has been marketed for years), therefore, there's no financial conflict of interest from Biofarma. Furthermore, the study is financed by USAID, not any pharmaceutical company; •All of the coordinators who help the study will do their tasks (from CCR-ARI) outside their working hours in RSHS. This will be stated on their contract with CCR-ARI; •The elderly study will proceed as scheduled; •Clinical pathology team will provide 3 phlebotomists/day for the elderly study.

• Follow up on the MOU progression; • Follow up on whether the study team must pay the institutional fee; • Send a request letter to human resources department for allocation of nurses to help the elderly study (vaccination).
